Thanks so much for the comment, but to be honest, I really wanted to make a good portrait. However, since it doesn't look too much like the person, I decided to leave it for now and maybe redo it a bit later. Thanks so much for your comment though, you encouraged me to keep going and practicing!

Glad you saw the Purple People Eater *L I really love that weird picture, was hard working with that scribble too!! I also love millifiore beads. Had some real glass ones as a kid. I make them nw out of sculpy clay and they come out very pretty. Thanks for the cheers and comments. *S*

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry to hear that, Rachel, please inform me of what happens. That is, of course, if you feel comfortable doing so. I just get very protective of children. I love them to pieces and have a way with them. So as soon as I hear that something is not well with a little one, I get very upset. I do sincerely hope that everything will be fine with him and the rest of your wonderful family. The dear added me today and I immediately returned it. :)

After I saw the whole drama with Gregold, I realized what stupidity really is. Soon after (not having communicated with him in any way) he started posting very strange things on my profile. My reaction to morons like that is usually, "Did you forget to take your meds this morning?" But I didn't want to start an internet fight and I let him be. His comments got deleted shortly after. Honestly though, I hate that cyberspace (as the real world) is littered with such dirt.

That sounds like a great trip - where did you go, if I may ask? But yes, I realize that the illness was a downfall. Catching a cold is never fun, especially when kids are involved...you feel so horrible that the little tykes are suffering and that you can't really end it, even if you can help make it easier. But I'm hoping that all of you are much better by now, and healthier too. :)

Referring back to the comment that you wrote back to me on your drawing, it's interesting to see how different people get very different feelings from art, and even more importantly, the artist meant something else, a meaning that was hidden beneath the art. Thanks for explaining it to me, the explanation made the image that much more meaningful. :)
