when you are drawing and the brush is over the drawing area press the ,(its also the < key) and you will se the colour become more transparent, if you then press the . (or>) key you will see it get darker (more opaque again) it doesnt work when you first open a drawing as the pen defaults to the middle size, but as soon as you change the pen size you should be able to alter opacity....

right click on the mouse to zoom in and out...

use the opacity tool < key to make softer and > to make more opaque.... if you press p when you are drawing it opens the pallete and hover your mouse over a colour in the drawing you want to use again and press e and it will change the colour
