Ah, Mr. Phillips loves Ween as well. :) He practically lives it the way he described the band. I have to say that I didn't share his dedication, I didn't even know what he was talking about! *laughs* Regardless though, that is a killer flash animation. It took him forever, but it's well worth the wait. Hope you have fun at the concert. :) I'm watlzing off to see Switchfoot in November myself.

if you're interested in learning, many studios will hire you based on your drawing skills and then train you. unfortunately those kind of studios are quickly disapearing with the advent of the compootah--hence the semi retirement. i'm not a big fan of the 3d digital laminated look, so i've chosen to branch out into illustrioustration, where i can still use paper and pencil. big tip: get a light table and an animation bar from cartooncolour's website--learn a few tricks in flash, and send them a few trad sketches. the work is spotty, but if you're tenacious and you're patient, and you work well with other artists, you'll get hired back on a reg basis.
