I majored in art in high school and took about one years worth of commercial art in a community college. Not much in formal training. Again thanks for the comments and cheers. How about you? I can see some graphics in your work, I took graphics in college, it was one of my best classes. Loved it.
I hope you popped a bag of popcorn last night for all your little movie viewing! lol, thanks for all your kind words and cheers, where were you hiding?
ok, in that case, you should click on "more sharing options" in the share this drawing box when you view a drawing. Then you want to either use the code under "Manually embed this," or if that doesn't work, use the "plain image link." But either of those should definitely give you the HTML code you need.
the easiest way to share your drawings on your blog is to pull up one of your drawings, and look at "Share this drawing" on the right. Do you see all those icons and little tabs? There's one for LiveJournal, Blogspot, MySpace, and the rest. Just enter in your info, and it'll post it for you on your blog!
If that doesn't work, click on "more sharing options" and you can copy and paste teh code onto your blog. Try it and let me know if you ahve any problems.
I took a look at your website and am so impressed! Your paintings are great! I especially like the oil paintings. Unfortunately for me though, I have no idea what to do with real paint and a canvas - I've never really used real media before or had proper instruction when it comes to art (one sad semester in grade eight), so it intimidates me like crazy >_< So yeah, I've never really made any art I thought worth selling. I'm basically just going by trial-and-error when it comes to my sketchfu stuff. I'm going to Toronto to do my MA in Linguistics (which I love)and I don't know how much time I'll have to draw/paint when it starts, but keep me posted on how the gallery progresses. When I come back, I definitely want to check it out!
You're in West Van? I'm pretty close to you then! I'm in Richmond, but I'm actually moving to Toronto this August for grad school. Opening up a gallery sounds really exciting - do you have your own stuff on canvas that you plan to show?
Well, you ought to get one.(my opinion) They even have a special type of account just for artists! If you do ever get one, you know who'll be your friend! (me)
Hey, thanks :) Yeah, I use a little 5x4 inch wacom tablet - i suck with a mouse. I kind of cheated with the paintings in so far as I used a lot of colour sampling (though the drawing is done freehand).
Hi Lisa! Thanks for all of the comments and cheers! I love your pictures, they're way sexy : ) I always chicken out when it comes to drawing sexy pictures...so they either become 'cute' (or remain hidden in my sketchbook ^_^;) I don't really have a website with other art - I hadn't been doing any art for the past couple years and I just recently started again when I found an on-sale tablet and SketchFu. So anything I do have is from when I was in junior/highschool and highly embarrassing...(not nearly as good as the stuff that comes from some of the crazy young and talented people I've seen here on SketchFu)
I've just realized I've been shamefully remiss in cheering your pictures - I always look at them when I'm not logged in and so can't cheer...I must go remedy...
Nice profile... On your website. Beautiful, successful, way hell talented and all too inspiring. Im not flowery tho... Im yet too forge a steel rose. Hmmmmm a stainless steel rose with the mean as heat colours.
yeah, the color palette is _really_ bad. making it work better is near the top of our list. loved your latest drawing btw, even with the limited palette!
Hi Lisa, I was just looking at your pics just late last night. Beautiful work. I am a ceramic junkie too. I have way too many afgans that I made over the years. I have enough to blanket the state. lol. I read that you just got a tablet. Me being new to this would like to know what brand and any suggestions that you may have in my purchase choices. I soooooooooo need one I have terrible carpal tunnel syndrome from bartending and I also broke my arm about 6 years ago and it has never been the same...ya whoa is me, lol. Thanks again for the compliments and any help-Star(Terry)
Hi Lisa, thanks for the comments, but the image named "this rules, luan" was not one of mine, it was done by Luan, and was originally called "No name". I published it unaltered by mistake. It is good, though and you should let him know that you like it :)

Like your stuff, BTW.
I help run the site - let me know if there's anything I can help you with.
Enjoy the site, and remember to friend a couple artists whose pictures you like. That way you'll get updates when they draw new stuff!
