"WOW Elliot! This draw is gorgeusly done! What a masterpiece!I love her expresion and HOW you captured that. The black-n-white just makes it all that more interesting. I'd give you more cheers if i could!!! Keep up the great work:) :)"
Hello! Yes I did go to Paris and loved it! Highly recommend going- was my second visit and I'm so glad I went twice- I don't think I appreciated how beautiful it was the first time! The best city I've seen in Europe and definitely take a night tour :) Anyway, thanks for the lovely comments and cheers- much appreciated.
Thanks for the compliment...you are the inspiration for this particular draw. Your rainbow diamond pic was so pretty that i kinda took the idea and just played around with it. Hope you don't mind.
Glad you took the time to browse my library m8, *smiles*, of course I do admire your work too and have noticed you like the use of intricate colourful designs too! lets keep them rolling on ;k
Hello, I'm not around much anymore but hope to get here more often now that winter is here, UGH! Thank you for you nice comments and hope to see you soon!
thanks for the awesome comments and cheers, it's been awhile since i've been on and my brain is just completely drained of any artistic thoughts what-so-ever. Anyways, keep up the great work :)
I finally figured it out. I used Internet Explorer and then it was easy. So if I think I'll need straight lines, I will use that, otherwise I can still use my Opera. Thanks for your help anyways.
Thank you so much for all your comments and support. You are so sweet. You inspire me to do better with each sketch. ps. I still can't get my straight line feature to work. Any more suggestions?
I use a mouse and maybe it has something to do with the fact that I use "Opera". It lets me go forward and backward from page to page y clicking my right & left clicks. Maybe that's preventing me from getting it.
Thanks for the help but I couldn't get it to work. I achieved it by accident a few times but didn't know what I did and couldnt repeat it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If you can give me a few more pointers that might help, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
yes please do have a play with the "pattern" idea. as you ould see some people just take drawings without checking with you.. I appreciate you asking! Cheers
You are such a dear. TY for the words of praise. I don't think I am deserving but you are kind to say those things. Just know I will help whatever way I am able.:)))
Of course I wasn't offended. I understand and I appreciate the fact that you like what I draw and take the time to look and comment. And of course you can call me sapin. It's a name that came from my favorite and closest small dog that is my profile pic. I apologize if I seemed as though I was offended by what you asked. I wasn't. I know I can sound that way sometimes, but I don't mean it that way. Anyway, you're kind for taking an interest in my drawings and I appreciate it. :)
Answer... in the sense of I am going to do a winter scene, a fall scene, etc. It evolves as I draw. Now the profile pics are from reference pictures. The beauty of those for me is how well they turn out and the Positive comments I recieve. The down side is I am tied to the other artist's work. The creativity of my own cannot be expressed as well. The other part of using a reference picture is, You LEARN SOOOOO MUCH! Have you seen my oldest drawings here. =O very sad stuff!!!
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!! Watch others animation in 2 slow mo. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Never say that a work you have done is not good. Just look and say what you would do differently. Thier are no failures in anything... just trys that do not work. Be the best you, you can be. Don't try to be someone else and come up being second. Well enough preaching. LOL Hope you are not offended by my advice. Just trying to be a friend. ~Hugs~
Good morning, I will be happy to give you that info. If you need something more just let me know. type in your browser Floating Ginkgo.com and the other is Queeky.com Thanks for the cheers. The profile picture is a draw I did at Floating Ginkgo. At both sites you can put in babsblueeyes and find my drawings. Let me know if you need more information. :)
Hi LE, I have been meaning to tell you, the cardinal on my profile is my drawing at Floating Ginkgo. I do a lot of different more serious draws there. I also draw at Queekey.com Fu is a place I do my relaxing work. No I don't do water colours. I like to work with bold colours normally. Just wanted to do something different. I liked it so I may do more. Thanks for the cheers and comment. I am going to change it, to another draw I did on FG
Thank you so very much for the wonderful compliments. I really appreciate the interest. I just love doing this and to think that someone else enjoys it is really icing on the cake. thanks again :)
Thanks for the cheers and comment! All those fine details are done by right clicking and zooming in, another thing you should try if you haven't already. =)
TO MAKE STRAIGHT LINES:
Left click and hold while right clicking to bring up the menu. Then release both mouse buttons. Move to where you want the line to finish and simply left click. It takes some practice and consideration as to which areas the menu will block, but it's worth it for the results.
Thank you for the nice words, and I don't mind you adding me at all :) But I have to tell you that I'm not very active at all on here anymore. Was a long time since I last drew something.. but you'll never know what might happen :) but for now I just check in from time to time.
Hi! thank you for your comment on my profile, I will use your given name if thats OK? As to changingnames I dont think you can edit them once they are set up, I know of other people here who have set up new galleries because they lost thier passwords- but not anyone who has changed their name... Thats the trouble with sketchfu- not many explanations! Anywhooo good to now that you feel inspired! Keep up the brilliant work! Chris
Hi "lazyeye"....Thank you very much for all your cheers and nice comments on several of my draws.....I really do appreciate it very much! Also....thank you for "adding" me...I appreciate it, and I added you also. :)
Hey gf, are you sure you like this view of my court yard. That is MY FRONT PORCH and yard. You are a delight. Thanks for your attention to my gallery. This is an early draw. I worked long and hard on it though. :)
Hello lazyeye! Cheers for all the cheers on my recent draws. I especially enjoyed reading the very nice, encouraging comments you left behind also. I appreciate the appreciation! Thank you very much ;-) L8*
thank you very very much for your cheers and aomments, i really appreciate :X tha thing is that theese are kind of old pics and i am not quite proud of them but thankieeesss >:D< hug
I had the endiometriosis and fibroid tumors too. Had a major surgery once they found it. took me 7 yrs and 9 doctors to find one who knew to look for it. that was over 25 yrs ago. It stayed gone for 10 yrs. I had my son during that time. Then it started to come back and i said enuff...no more pain and no more complication and has the BIG surgery. I never regretted it but i was also quite a bit older then you are now. Hang in there and do what u need to do. It can really gum up the works inside and needs to be dealt with. My best wishes to you!! *big big hug*
Hey you! *hug* It has been ages that is why it feels like ages *L8 I was gone for a long time, well, maybe 2-3 weeks but felt longer. Now I am just going and saying hi to everyone, i figure the galleries will eventually get seen. Hope you have been well. I hurt my back and am kinda worried aobut it to be honest. We shall see. Getting old is hell *L*
Golden retrivers? My uncle has a 15 year old Golden retriver! Her name's Buscuit. She's almost completly blind, and she has arthritis, and heart problems. :( But she's really precious! ^^
Thank you sooo much for the sweet comments and all of the cheers! They made my night! =]
You're so very welcome, also! No need to thank me for taking time to go through your gallery- it's such a completely different style from mine that I find it very inspiring! =]
Thank you so much for your cheers and kind comments ! :)))
If, as you suggest, you want to color one of my draws, try the one called "be positive" I will be pleased to see what you see in it. :)
Aww thank you gerbear for all the cheers and comments :) its always encouraging to have such comments on drawings :)
you are very kind with everyone and, it is deserved, you have an enormous list of friends :)
Merci :) for all :) xoxo
Hiya lazyeye...after going through some of my gallery perhaps you have tired eyes now? ;-) Cheers for the many cheers & very nice comments! I appreciate them very much. Thank you, also, for the friend add...I've done the same, L8*
Hey thanks for the long comments i always enjoy reading those :). I'm not really that sure about becoming an Art therapist because doing it in New Zealand is impossible, id have to spend 8 years in Australia after doing lots of study here. I was thinking about doing a diploma in Psychology while i do the last two years of my degree.... but my parents dont think i could handle doing a degree and a diploma at the same time which is probably right lol but i just want to get everything done now! so i dont have to be studying half my life.. as if i kept going from now till i get a masters in art therapy id be 34 i think? thats a long time of studying and its just too big!. So ill just be teaching art.. which i loooove and possibly something more than that when im older. I hope to do lots of travelling with my boy friend when ive finished my degree before i go into teachers college :) hes already been to lots of places and worked in korea for 3 months.. so he's a good person to take hehe!. About being a creative person... yeah I get told that im an all rounder kind of artist... i can do the digital stuff... the drawing... the ceramics.. i can sew lol.. i can knit.. i can do every kind of art that you can think of and im sure i could learn if i dont know how :D.. im going to try get into weldi
