Hiya :) For opacity use the > < keys. for straight lines hold down left mouse button click right drag to where you want line to end then reclick right. good luck :)

btw...the keys to use for the opacity tools are < and > to make them lighter or darker. You can test for yourself, then release. The colour picker is 'e' to help you find the colour you want, just put your cursor over it and press e. Looking forward to your creations!
