Hi Wayward,since a while I did'nt see you over here =) How are you ? Happy to see you're back ;D I can't imagine how many messages you have o_O ;)

Congrats if it is a better position but just remember to take time for W and lil W's also! Before ya know it, they turn into big W's. My lil G jes left for Dallas, maybe forever. The time went too fast. I think my drawing of the lil boy with the train, might have been trying to recapture another moment of him being lil still.

I used to use scilpy/fimo clay, it is great stuff. I am a potter so I love all kinds of clay. I make the sculpy millifiore beads with my camp kids every summer because they are very fun to make. I fell in love with millifiore glass beads many yrs ago. that was an excellent question about the working in more than one media. I think if you do too much switching you end up that Jack of All trades, master of none. Most artists seem to get really good in one discipline (mine is pencil and color pencil drawing) and once that is reasonably mastered they move on to experiment with other media. I am getting ready to do watercolor paintings now from my yrs at the beach and from my travels. i do have to start from scratch. While i can watercolor and have taught it to young adults, i really need lots of practice myself. in art school you are exposed to all of the medias so most students have an idea what it is all about and just choose one or two. Sorry, ask an art question and i get long winded!! *grin*
