"WHAT A COMPLETE ARSE YOU ARE. IF YOU WISH TO STEAL SOMEBODY ELSES WORK THEN AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO ASK AND THEN DO SOMETHING COMPLIMENTARY WITH IT."
"You drawing again brought me back to this again.
The bad thing about missing somebody is not seeing their smile, hearing their laughter or being comforted by their voice. The gentlest of touches as you pass by and the whole feeling of just being close to each other.
The good things are that the strength of your feelings only serve to make you remember what these magical moments are like and knowing that your love only gets stronger and more determined to survive.
Its the knowing that your 'someday' will come.
MSPFY."
"YAY! *rips off clothes. gets ironing board and camera out. does a crazy happy dance*
You drawed again!
This is cute, yes CUTE I say. I know a little boy crazy about ducks who will love this.
Welcome back. More drawings please. I miss your work.

About StGeorgeOfEngland
Am I really 107? You may never know.
For the best part of the past 30 years I have said 'I don't draw'. My art college tutor told me that I had no artistic skill and booted my butt out the place. Sort of killed any passion I had to develop any skills.
More recently I have been going through great changes in my life and have found that drawing (or attempting to) is helping me to relax. I am not promising great pictures but what I have I will share. My brain is picking up where the 16 year old stopped drawing so bear with me. Feel free to offer CONSTRUCTIVE criticism for I wish to improve.
I have to say thanks to the people who have inspired me to try again. Two in particular have supported me and encouraged me.
Thanks Mrs. Goofball and SG, you know who you are.
I love art of all kinds and have a very open mind to most things. I don't get chopped up animals, dirty beds and garden sheds though. Can somebody tell me what that is about?
I like the art of painters such as LS Lowry, JMW Turner, William Blake (quite dark and disturbing), Richard Parkes Bonnington, Renoir plus many more.
I like the photography of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Frank Meadow Sutcliffe.
I am lucky in the respect that I have a major art gallery and a beautiful sculpture park within easy reach of my house.
Yes, I'm the same mad fool from Inklink. I have many friends from there that are fantastic artists here. That's why I came along. To view.
Browse the many varities of styles and skills here. If you enjoy them half as much as I do then you will have a good time.
Have fun, smile alot, love alot, make friends, drink heartily and eat well.
Peace and love to you all.
Something I was told a while ago:
It is very easy to find the bad in a person.
It is sometimes hard to find the good in a person but well worth the effort when you do.
Hi StG. Thank you for your informative and kind comment on my Remembrance Day tribute. My Dad used to tell me stories of himself as an able seaman in WW2 and stories of my British Grandfather in WW1. I would sit and listen just trying to understand what he/they must have gone through. We can never truly know. Even as difficult as those years in his life were, he was a proud Canadian and his stories were always interesting and educational. These stories were so personal, nothing you could ever read in a history book! I miss him alot but also "remembering" WITH him. Now it's important to "remember" FOR him. Thank you for the appreciation! ;-) L8*
I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I keep coming back to FU, I don't seem to be able to leave it. I know it is soooo irritating at times. I get disgusted and say to myself...NO MORE! Than like an addict I come back. SIGH! i AM ALSO DRAWING ON Queeky.com. Kutiedimples wanted me to draw there. Three sites plus my social site bebo, is a lot to keep up with. TOOOOO MUCH really!!!! Going to MN. in March should give you some time for enjoying the snow. How long will your visit be? Catch you on FG Thanks for coming over to the Poo side of art. Were you looking for me? LOL Sparky did today as well. Thanks my wonderful friend. I will be on FG to draw very soon. LU
Heh Guy, i am so ready for that Island. We would have a blast don't you think? Meno, you and Ms. Fuzz. Some margaritas, pina coladas, wine beer, sunshine, sea, and sand. You at the barbie. WHOOOHOOO I AM SOOOO READY! Thanks for your cheers and comments.Hugs!
Awwww Sorry about the cardinal. I will do a proper one. It just wasn't coming together like I wanted. They are Kentucky's State bird. We have them everywhere. They are so beautiful. Set against the snow, it is incrediable to see. Thanks for your cheers and comment.
So sorry St George, I don't know what I did to send that cheers thing as I thought i was just browsing and must have inadvertantly touched something i shouldn't have!! Anyway I really thought it was a pleasant image with nice use of colour. I noticed there were no people on the scene. Looks like a nice street to stroll along with a pal. Would you mind taking a look at my first attempts on here and share your thoughts (Im open to any critisisms, I can take it, I think!)E.R
Hi there! Thanks for the comment on my Middle of the Night. I'm actually heading off to bed. It's my typical bedtime 4am! You referring to me with insomnia? Nah...since I was a teen I've only required 3 hrs sleep per night. No idea why, but happy I can gain so many waking hours in a day. I love being awake and hate to miss out on anything life offers - hehe. People with insomnia want to sleep but can't...I don't want to sleep!! The problem is...I have no idea where the extra hours go like the other hours of the day. I'm classified by friends as a night owl, but a morning person too, since one leads into the other. hehe. Anyhow, good morning to you, good night to me, TTYL, L8* ;-)
Thanks St.G! I have an idea...if you flip my pics upside down I bet some of them will look like skies? Maybe the water ones? hehe...j/k Regardless, pleased you like scenes without as well! ;-) L8*
Good morning Guy. Yes the red barns are an iconic feature of the country side here. Sounds like you really enjoyed your visit to the USA. The state I live in is so beautiful. I live in the heart of the horse country. The greatest horse race in the world is run fifty miles from me. The Kentucky Derby. Thorobred horse farms are all around me. We are the number one in state parks in the nation. We have such varied terraine. The Daniel Boone National Forrest is a big part of our geography. The Appalacian Mountains also. From rolling hills to mountinous regions we enjoy such beautiful landscape. We are cak=lled The Bluegrass State. When Daniel Boone, as an early explorer, gazed upon a field of grass, seeded, it had a blue hue. Yes the grass is sold as seed. It is not very drought resistent, thus must be blended with other for landscape us. Anyway, I love all I see around me in nature. Therefore I just really love drawing it. I love where I live. I never tire of viewing it's beauty. I am glad you enjoyed the barn with me. Hugs
hi guy'no whats gone has gone'the limit of three a day as been set now'but after reading some of the views'which got quite offensive to me'that i never commented'which is untrue'my heart aint quite ready to draw there yet'dont think our neighbours over the water are quite as tactful as us.
George, I'm really digging the fact that you're drawing! Discouraging words spoken by insensitive adults during our impressionable years are hard to shrug off (I know!) ... but shrug you must, because your Inner Artists has spoken and will be contained no longer ... hooray! Hug!
Hi ya St.G. or should I say Sting G.? hehe. Yes, I was singing and playing his song as I was drawing...go figure! Love that song, love that singer! Thanks always for the support & encouragement. ;-) L8*
Hi StG. Thanks for the Cda Day wishes! It was a beautiful day, almost like I drew. The skies were gorgeous & almost matched the red in our flag. Thanks again for the inspiring comment(s) & cheers! L8*
Yes, Many of my friends are obsessive about herbs, herbial treatments etc. I think MDs have there place, herbal treatment, chiropractors, etc. I try to be balanced in my approach. It is not easy. The drink you talked about, with burdock, what is it and how do you make it? I may have to google some stuff. I would be up a creek if I couldn't take garlic. Externial application is good also. I use it on the skin. I put it on my grandson's bow bows. It works faster than the chemicals.
Hey my kindred herbal users. Nothing but Vit C, Echinacea and Golden seal when I have an infection or illness. I am allergic to antibiotics. I have been "into" herbs for a long time. GARLIC IS THE BEST FOR SOOOO MUCH. If your ear hurts, open a soft jel of garlic oil drop it in the ear. Then go stand in a crowd, maybe no one will know it is you. LOL Use the odorless, it isn;t but MUCH BETTER. Have a sore on your tongue. Use garic oil. Valarian root for calming. You probaly know all this and more. I also did a successful all natural cancer treatment. The Hoxey Treatment. Went to the Bio-Medical Center in Mexico. Every day I use Himalayan Goji juice by freelife. Great stuff. Just wanted to chat with you about these interests we share. You sound like you are well versed on the subject. I have let up some. Used to buy goats milk, free range chicken eggs.shop the The Good Foods Co-op. I need to get back to right. I would be healthier. Just lazy I think. I would like to know about the drink you told Meno about. You make it I assume. BTW dandoline juice, never drank it. Aloe Vera juice was a part of my Hoxey treatment. Sorry if I rattled on and bored you to tears. :D
Actually, I am much into the healing powers of herbs ... I take feverfew to prevent migraines, cat's claw for arthritis, turmeric for general wellness ... and herb teas just for the hell of it :) And, yeah, I'm sure root beer and burdock are probably kissin' cousins, anyway ;) OK, call off the duel! (P.S. You ARE the only person on the planet who likes Wings! Too sappy :P But, I'll always love Paul!)
A&W Root Beer "disgusting?!" Sir, I challenge you to a duel! Well ... okay ... maybe a Burp-Off! You drink dandelion juice? And you think WE'RE crazy? Ha!
Hi Guy! Yep, it's Meno :) My husband contributed the joke for your chameleon but it was SO dorky I deleted it! REALLY dorky :P I loved yours, though ... really gave me a laff ;D So, see ya here, see you at FG; where you won't see me is the Dark Side!
Hi George! Just stopping by to say hi and thanks for the message. I see you have been baptized in dark waters. 2 draw is really an odd and dark community. Not nearly as bad as it was 3 years ago. The artists then were for the most part exceptional and very, very, elitist, often nasty. Some like Axil ... posted and posts comments that are so offensive that I stopped drawing there for a long long time. In that world, the overall attitude is that this is the way, truth and light. Most of this attitude was based on a follow the leaders attitude. I am amazed by that need people seem to have for acceptance. Sometimes and in that situation, most of the critics don't see any wrong in their comments and approach. I have learned to ignore this only because I have a greater need to use those tools for my goals and personal development. Long story ... I won't bore you. I miss all of you and try to keep up with the little time I have as often as I can. I saw your comment before you deleted it and wanted to say thanks. You are a classy guy! Take care!

You can rant that rant to me any time you want!! *L*
In my gallery George you will find a few themes.
The occasional realism, slightly painterly
2 pieces of hyperrealism
lotsa kewt lil bears...but of course!
Tons of FUolish FUn FU art. I started a gallery called FUWorld to collect everyones FU art. If you ever have lots of time, feel free to move any FU art you find floating around into that gallery and just leave a note to the artist who drew it. Instructions are on the FUWorld profile.I will add you as a friend on there so you can find it. Basically anyone can sign in as FUWorld, the password is on the profile. Then you can add art to it. You copy others by adding a dot, just give credit with the artists name if you move one over. The gallery is fun, havE A look and a go at it (as you Brits say *big grin*)
Patterns of all sorts, I love making patterns and doodles.
Last but not least, community draws, i have at least 50 or more I have participated in. Love em!
Due to the lag monster tho..will completely understand if you dont make it past page one *L*
hehe..I named it the Dark Side *L* I am a teacher and HATE what goes on over there. I did some lovely work, loved the drawing applet, but some of those ppl should be shot! Really. Or hung. Art is sacred and art making efforts to be admired no matter WHAT the result, we all started somewhere. They are just big bullies with complexes.
*end rant*
I will go and read your profile tomorrow! *grin* I love the humor here, most of my gallery is silly stuff, I can do serious realism but I NEED silly escape to function as a decent human being *L*
nice to meet you *S*
How you do not have ME on your friends list nor me have YOU on mine is such an oversight *L*
I intend to remedy that right away.
We run...in the same Sketchfu circle, tho I am an original YouDrawer but a close friend of Late from there. Quite a few You Drawers came over here, about 30 at one point. Then we got a wonderful influx of you InkLinkers and i have made quite a few friends among you *S*
Hi ya StG. Thanks for leaving some very nice comments & compliments on my draws. Very pleased you enjoy my 'skies'. Always been a cloud & sky worshiper. Thanks much ;-) L8*
Well just try and prove it!!! My carriage is horse drawn.....no keys necessary and my guards will be warned about suspisious incoming mail. Besides princesses do nothing wrong.........:D
its kool i was just asking .. its like they abandoned it thats all. you would think if they were making $$$ they monitor it more. i love this site don't get me wrong.
Hi ya StG. Thanks alot for the nice comments you are leaving behind on my legends draws. I'm pleased you are enjoying them as much as they are challenging me! I enjoyed the Attaturk quote you left behind on my Yvonne draw. Thanks for educating me, as well! ;-) L8*
LOL George I had no idea toy story was on until about 10 mins ago when my son turned over. yay for toy story hes now sat mouth open and QUIET for the 1st time today hehe
Hey, George, it's my strong belief that art is for everyone. Thanks for the add. I thought your stand up Chameleon was hilarious. If you wish, you can "slay" some of my dragons LOL. :-)
Hi ya StG. Just wanted to thank you very much for your praise, comments, encouragement and cheers for the many cheers on my draws. I really appreciate the time you take to do so ;-) As for the Legends series I am doing...I am being a little "Country Proud" and drawing the Canadian Stars & the pattern is I am drawing those that have left us. So as for Liz Taylor, I'm not sure if I could 'do her justice' by attempting to draw her. I did draw an older Liz on YouDraw some time ago... http://www.youdraw.com/cgi-bin/solopic.pl?picnum=354658 But perhaps, I'll surprise you & moreso, myself and try. Thanks again! L8*
LOL you guys were not suppose to see that yet! i am not giving up but i AM deleting or you will be sick of it before i finish! The lag even got to me tonight :( Thanks for the encouragment :D
Haha yes I was thinking but I kept wondering why in the name of all that is holy my foot was being chewed by some dude :p Maybe its something I don't want to know :p
Wow you sound so nice in your profile, think I'm not as scared of you anymore lol. :p Umm well anyway, my Apocalypto painting is just for fun, its gonna turn out really bad I know it >.< Sure the Mayan ar related to 'us' the Inca in Southamerica, but they have their own culture. We are more fun, haha. jk. I love all 'american' native cultures, fascinated about my dads as well as the brothers in central and north-america and will probably draw most my painting based on these themes....with the occassional weird cartoon hehe :D Thank you for commenting and making me feel like I am not doing all too horrible job :D. I miss InkLink :( -hugs- Have a wonderful friday night-weekend.
YOU ARE JUST AMAZING!!!! As for breeding...those little Arab fillies are shy and skittish! I would suggest extreme patience... big rewards... the breed will grow on you, trust me! Thanks for the flattering comment and the wonderful humor... just the right spice to make it especially delightful!
Hi George! Thanks for the message! I appreciate the information. Seeing as how I am not yet impressed with myself I can tell you I have not been to ink link only you draw and 2 draw... Both experiences tell the tragic, and ugly beginnings of learning digital art. Most of my submissions were indeed badly done. It has taken great time and patience for me to learn to post something half way decent. So, no I haven't been there yet. I recently took a trip to deviant art. I can upload photography and real art at that site.. Thats my huge forgettable bio! Three kids! Thats wonderful! I love watching children as much as watching horses! They are amazing little people... great subjects for art... surprised I don't see more. Well thanks again! Its so nice to see such wonderful fun and positive people joining!
Woe is me! I guess I will live and die in suspense! No offense meant toward your pic, it just looks like , almost exactly the position babies manage to get into when discovering their feet...foot in mouth... you know? What is Inklink?
Well now! Let's see what should I say first? I think I will comment on your avatar.... hahahahahahaha that is so cute, no funny, no I think it is hilarious! And now I just don't know.... are you? as you said I picture you? Post a picture and then I will know!!!!!!
Hi St.G...Enjoy reading your kind comments on my draws. I also appreciate any & all cheers you send, too. Thanks much! Oh, I see you've quoted a great Canadian group, Nickelback, on your profile. Love that song & love their music. Great stuff! L8*
Thanks George! I don't deserve such a nice comment... I really wanted to experiment with the color and texture of these gems. I have a pic in mind... a bit more involved with pearls. But is always nice to receive such kind comments. Thanks again!
hey ho good ta be finally on ere great fun just practicing bloody hard though, put some fun stuff up first then may try do something good in the coming weeks haha
Hi George... you always take time to leave very meaningful comments on artists work, I think this absolutely super for you to be so supportive. I personally appreciate your comments and send a big thanks! I see you are venturing out a bit in the drawing world... looking forward to that one day you will send us a drawing!
Hihi, well every time you think of Da Vinci, you get all happy, and don't know what to say really. That's how it is for me... If I lived in the same time as him, and the same countrey, I would... Hm, I don't know what I'd do :D
Aww thnx for comment about 10 minutes sketch :) And i delete a pic if it takes along time to draw then bring it back up later to finish or else people r looking at half finished stuff all the time and get bored of pic :)
Thanks George! I do appreciate that comment. It has taken me quite sometime to really see clearly ... and then the drawing got easier. I am tackling things I would never have thought to do a year ago! Thanks again!
Hi George! Thanks for the nice comment! I had a jigsaw puzzle many years ago that was just masts and rigging against an orange sky. These many years later...it became an inspiration for me to use in a practice with the straight line tool! Glad you liked it!
Hi George... you know, sometimes, rarely but sometimes you just make a great connection with people..I really liked Fuzzy right off, and I can see why you two are friends! I am so glad both of you found us! You will see what a wonderful group we are here! Welcome!
