Hi, Knack!I'm pleased to know you have a gallery here, too! And how fabulous it is!Your beautiful patterns get a new dimension with the help of colours and other tools. Thanks for adding me as a friend and for your kind comment on my work!I' ll also add you as a friend if you don't mind!
Heya Knack...you sure have a 'knack' of extending the cheers & comments to encourage so many, not to mention your own contributions of inspiring, unique draws! Thanks for both! ;-) L8*
Thanks for the wonderful compliment...It's kinda funny you asking about the quick lines, cause I was gonna ask you how you made your lines cause they seem to be just hand drawn! Ha, funny! Anyway, how do you make your lines. I make the quick line by left clicking and holding it down, then right click(at that point you can release them both)then move your mouse where you want the line to start and left click again. The line should appear, but I only know how to do it with a mouse, and from the looks of your wonderful draws, you must have something better than I have!!!
Thank you for your kind comments. The Native American culture is fascinating to me as well. Their wisdom is timeless, and as the current events are unfolding on the planet, very predictive....
Waiting for this dark cloud to pass over so the Sun can go out and play! hehe..not too bad. i need new tires$$!! ARGgg..3 day Holiday weekend and I'm feeling grounded! Hope things are looking up for you. xo
Hi Knack! ... a big ol' hug back atcha ;D No, I'm a Sagittarian ... lots of Libra and Cancer in my chart, though, for what it's worth. Good to see you here!
Knack, hi, thanks for stopping by my work *S* Always lovely to see you! I will catch up on your work soon, am way behind, have not been here that much of late. anyhow,i saw oyu use the word "ickle" on a draw of Lates. What does ickle mean? An english friend of mine used it a while back and i thought it was a typo *L* Please leave response on my profile in case i space out and forget to look back *L* Hope you are well and your music is coming along great!
Hi Knack...cheers for the cheers & comments. Thanks much. I think you may know me from YD...I am *A* and *A*-scapes. Thanks for the friend add as well ;-) L8*
Damn! I can't view it and I want to see it so badly!!! :( I have trouble that way, anything long time loading takes forever, if at all, for me. I know it must be fantastic. Knack, one question...how do you print your stuff on canvas? Keep up the great work!! :D
When checking out my new image picture, be sure to click the right mouse once to get the clear image as at first it will appear in low chunky gritty unsmooth form, ;)
Hi Knack - Thank you so much!! -- for your meticulous explanation of how to make straight lines, for your cheers and most of all for your extra kind comments:) - I like your work as well -
Hello Knack... No I did not know that Earth is an anagram for Heart, but it makes sense.. Nothing lives without a heart...for long... Nice to meet you!
Hello, Knack ... pleased to meet you and have added you as a friend, as well. Thanx for the cheers and the compliments ... gosh, I'm blushing! OK, that's a lie ... but I'm very flattered! Now I'm going to check out your gallery ... ta! ;)
hey knack from your picture here it reminds me of Paul Shaffer from the David Letterman show here in the usa he is a keyboard player too. Thanks for the cheers and the nice comments!
uhu, those are fantastic songs.. like 'so soft'. my ultimate favorite ever. it's an early demo recording of Kate. they're all so beautiful and delicate. :)
Thank you! Yes, it is Kate Bush (and I happen to be a huuuge fan of hers). you'll find a lot more Kate's if you go through my gallery.
oh, thanks for the add too! :)
I honestly have no idea.. I did not have to download or install anything for sketchfu. If you can see someone's drawing build up you should also be able to add to that drawing or create a new one from scratch. It is a flash application so I guess installing flash 8 might be worth a shot..
In addition to what Suntan said:
-you can change opacity of your brush with the < (.) and > (.) keys
-you can change brush size with [ and ] keys
-you can use z to undo ( y for redo but I really recommend not to use it as it can sometimes really screw up your drawing (change opacity, color or size of your strokes).. and worst of all is that it doesn't even show until you publish! That's why I always do a replay before publishing to check if I see any such anomalies.
- you already found 'p' for palette :)
- and last but not least: 'e': color picker: the beauty is that grabs the color under your cursor when you hit 'e' but fully opaque! Which allows for making very smooth gradients :)
np, knacky!!lol..glad to help if i can!..right at the bottom right had corner should say publish..at the other bottom corner should say new, if you want to start over. I hope that helps get you on the board, i can't wait to see your stuff. Oh, and btw, you can use straight lines here by right click, drag, let go! ;)..you and your straight line work!! =)
..oh, and also, Knack, there is a tiny little box, down at the bottom on the home page that says, SiteMeter..if you go into it, I think there is support there. :)
Knack..gosh, that's messed up! Maybe flash player needs to be updated? I dunno, but up top above your avatar, there is "DRAW" click on that and there will come up a white screen with everything you need, color, brush sizes, etc. I hope that helps, though I don't know why you can't see it?? Try and contact Andrew or Matt to see about flash. In the meantime, when you signed up, was there a "try it and see" board?..and try this link , you never know. http://sketchfu.com/home ...let me know how you make out. I hope i was a bit of help.
Hi Knack- if you have trouble with the drawing board one of us might be able to help- or contact Andrew Null ( you can use the search option) although he doesnt always respond...
hi Knack good to see you I have only just joined as well, feeling totally out of control with the colour etc., and finding my way round! good to see you here
Hi Knack, welcome, adding you as a friend., I love this place, been here over a month and have done close to 100 drawings *L* Lots of UDraw is here. Just look at my profile and you will find them and can add them from there. Look forward to your work here!
