Oh, Lisa, I'd miss him, too (the goat, not the husband! Hope yours is sitting on the same curb as mine, where I kicked him!)

jpjp.....how 'bout it...i miss him too...alot....(NOT THE HUSBAND) the goat. hahaha, he was a handful especially with the horns. my family thinks i am a little goofy.. ""MRS.DOLITTLE"" ya know, talk to the animals. pretty sad when ya can relate to the animals better than humans. teehee...people think animals are stupid, nothing could be farther from the truth. ok, now i will get off my soap box, and thank you for comments.

That is a really sad story - not that you had to leave your husband, but that you had to leave your goat!

Wow!! I was actually still writing my previous comment when you posted yours and didn't get to read it till afterwards! This must be a bittersweet experience...the whole Goat-A-Thon, especially knowing how you had to leave your Baby behind!!! I can relate to your sadness but at the same time, I hope that all the goats that everyone drew will serve as a small measure of a tribute to Baby! I know goats can be wonderful and lovable pets. The pic on my profile is of a goat that I took during my last visit to the zoo. They have a small petting zoo so you can get really close and touch them; they are really cute animals.

Great job on your Goat. I am willing to be this is the first Goat you ever drew in your life. I know my goat is the first one I ever drew...lol. They are interesting animals but yet so overlooked. But I think they have their place in history and are closely connected to mankind from centuries ago. They provided food, milk, shelter and even music (instruments created from goat hide, flutes from their horns, etc.); they were even sacrificed to the Gods for good fortune. I'm so glad to see so many people participate in the Goat campaign!!!! And I'd like to officially welcome you as a charter member to the legendary and exclusive Goat Club! Con-goat-ewe-lations!!!

ok EC...........i debated about doing this. this IS "BABY" ....my goat. yep, i had a goat, up until one year ago when i left my husband and moved into town and had to leave "MY BABY" behind. he was constantly getting loose and getting into my flower beds and eating the fruit trees. WWWHHHHAAAAAA.... ;( i miss him. but now i can look at this and think about him...that is about as close as i could get. i am not much of as artist compared to the rest of you, however....i try sometimes and i love doodling. teehee....it would be alot easier if i didn't have to use a mouse... oh well....i guess i am officially a member now......right? ROFLMAO.......
