I am with you here Xina 125%. I don't profess to be an IT or a computer wiz, but I am excellent when it comes to installing computer parts and software and could probably get by on some HTML language but this I know: this site is in serious jeopardy of losing a lot of good and excellent professional and budding artist alike and it's really a big downer when huge admirers, or even artist can put up sites like this and don't give a hoot about what happens to it most of the time! I mean, let's be serious about this for a minute. A lot of the artist that create their drawings in here actually comes to this site because for starters, it's a user friendly site where you really don't see any mind blowing drawing exhibits right away unless something really stands out; it compels everyone to create their own drawing without any drawing rules that you have to live by. It's a simple kind of a draw and display user interface where everyone is really encourage to draw and express themselves in no other manner than the strongest medium known to man and that is simply to create art. It's also a good place to doodle, get your ideas and to hone in on your drawing style and methods. It could also very well be some kind of a personal portfolio where prospective clients can be enticed to go to this website and look at the individual galleries. I know for a fact that you're not wrong with the bandwidth being low and for a website like this that has no set conditions or some kind of standard that must be complied with it's really easy to see the recipe for a potentially clogged-up system. This website is really in serious need of a clean-up where they should totally include options to delete those saved roughs so that they can't be stored on everyone's gallery and I think the best thing to do here is to at least categorized the serious and not-so-serious individual. Whether you're just here because you're bored or you're here because you want your art to be critique and that you're serious about improving your artistic drawing skills. Maybe someone who lives in the Bay area or around the San Francisco area could maybe trace or try to locate Matt and Andrew and just let them know that there is a real serious situation here and that it's in dire need of their attention. After a couple of the drawings that I had created here where it did experienced some major heavy lag that even made some of my artist friends and some people here to inform me that they can't load it, I for one is thinking of not coming here anymore. I love this site and the simple user interface with the ingenious drawing tools but just like in life, no matter how good you are in the things that you do, if you don't get any support, no one will ever know including yourself how good you are or how good you're going to be. Matt and Andrew, for the very reasons that you guys created Sketchfu simply because you love to draw, then you guys owe it to yourself to really harness something that you'd started simply for the love of drawing. If it's for financial reasons that are actually compromising the validity of this website, then all means, we deserve an explanation or at least, have a chance to help or do whatever it takes to make this website work.

I don't know that there are things slowing Sketchfu down. What I do know is people are leaving because they are frustrated about a number of things. Matt and Andrew are conspicuous by their absence and maybe if they checked in more often they would be able to sort things out before problems escalated. The last time we heard from Andrew was three months ago and from Matt was FIVE MONTHS ago.
I have sent the following message to both of them AND to the help enquiry:

We have started a campaign to get you to notice what is going on at Sketchfu - please see:

Some people have left or are thinking of leaving and I'm aware that many of us are disappointed by your lack of involvement. I know this site isn't high on your list of priorities - maybe you could appoint a manager or enable some of us to look after it?
This is a wondeFul site and it has a great many lovely people who care deeply about it. Thank you for creating it but please pay us more attention - we deserve it.
